Open music workshop with ZusammenSpiel and the Stegreif orchestra

On 2. May 2026 from 10:00 to 13:00 the intercultural improvisation orchestra ZusammenSpiel from Trier and the Stegreif Orchestra from Berlin invite you to an open music workshop as part of the Kultursommer-Eröffnung Rheinland-Pfalz in Kaiserslautern.

Everyone who wants to make music together is invited - whether you have a lot of experience or no previous musical knowledge at all. Note knowledge is not required. Bring your instrument or use one of the instruments on site. Voice, body percussion and other creative forms of expression are also welcome.

Together we will discover how music is created in the moment - through listening, improvising and spontaneous Zusammenspiel. We particularly welcome participants with different cultural backgrounds and life stories and expressly invite people with a history of migration to become part of this musical experiment.

At the end, we will present the resulting sounds together with both orchestras at a musical flash mob from approx. 13:30 on the Kultursommer-Meile in Kaiserslautern.

Participation is free of charge. Places are limited to 30 people - secure your place now!

You will receive feedback from us no later than two working days after we receive your application, whether we can offer you a place in the workshop.
